Spartanburg County ,SC :One person Killed and two children transported to hospital after single Vehicle crash on Sunday morning ,September 6th 2015

The South Carolina Highway Patrol said they were investigating a fatal collision on Sunday morning.

The single-vehicle crash occurred around 11:00 a.m. on Old Canaan Road in Spartanburg County, according to the SCHP website.

Troopers said the driver of a 2002 Dodge van was killed and two children were transported. Highway Patrol and the Croft Fire Department were on scene.

Troopers said the driver ran off the side of the road, overcorrected, struck a ditch and a tree. The driver was not wearing a seat belt and was partially ejected.

The two children were transported to Spartanburg Regional and then onto Greenville Children's Hospital.

The Spartanburg County Coroner's Office identified the driver as 27-year-old Garrett Cain Williams of Pauline.
