Smackover, AR : Two people killed in separate auto crashes on Highway 7 state roads on Friday October 23 2015

Arkansas State Police say two people have been killed in separate auto accidents on state roads.
A state police report says 73-year-old Max Roe of Camden died Friday after the pickup truck he was driving collided with a tractor-trailer rig near Smackover. The report says Roe was merging onto Highway 7 when he pulled into the path of the semi and the two vehicles collided with Roe's truck leaving the highway and crashing into a tree.


Also killed Friday was 58-year-old Mary Ann Jones of Fordyce. A state police report says Jones was southbound on Highway 425 when her car crossed the northbound lane and went into a ditch where it struck a concrete culvert and overturned.
