VERNON, CT : 1 death reported in I-84 Vernon crash on Saturday, 17th June 2023

An individual died after a car accident in Vernon on Saturday.

The accident happened around 6 p.m., according to state police. Troop C received reports of a roll-over collision on I-84 between Exits 67 and 66. EMS was dispatched to the scene where they pronounced one of the parties involved dead.

I-84 West near Exit 67 was been closed for the investigation, but has since been reopened, according to the Department of Transportation.
