KANSAS CITY, MO : 4 toddlers injured in crash in KC, 1 with life-threatening injuries on Sunday, 4th February 2024

Kansas City Police are investigating a two-vehicle crash near 87th Street and Raytown Road, involving 11 people, four of whom were toddlers on Sunday afternoon.

A white GMC Acadia and a blue Chevy Malibu were traveling south on Raytown Road at a high rate of speed. Both vehicles left the roadway to the right.

The Chevy, carrying seven occupants, hit a tree and the GMC, carrying four occupants, rolled over. Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene around 1:30 p.m.

Four toddlers were occupants in the Chevy. Two were ejected out of the vehicle and the other two were in the Chevy without proper child safety seats.
